A Wider Bridge is an organization which seeks to promote what it claims are LGBT rights in Israel and unite LGBT communities in the US and Israel to defend Zionist ideals.1
A Wider Bridge provides LGBT community members in the US with trips to Israel. The organization seeks to convince LGBT members that Israel should be defended as a major supporter of LGBT communities in the world, a recent trend in Israeli soft diplomacy referred to by critics as the “pinkwashing” of Israel.2
