Anila Ali is a Pakistani social activist born in Karachi, Pakistan. In 1996, she relocated to California, US, ultimately serving as a delegate representing the 45th Congressional District at the Democratic National Convention in 2012 and 2016.
Ali founded The Washington-based American Muslim and Multifaith Women’s Empowerment Council (AMMWEC), an organization which partners with the malicious Zionist Anti-Defamation League in various fields.
Ali is also a board member of the Sharaka Institute, a shadowy organization pushing normalization between Muslim states and the Zionist regime. In 2022, she led a Sharaka delegation of Muslim and non-Muslim Pakistanis to Israel. The trip was severely criticized by her compatriots in Pakistan. During the trip, she met Israeli President, Issac Herzog.
In 2022, Ali claimed that Shireen Abu Akleh, an Al Jazeera journalist brutally killed by the Israeli Army, was killed in an “accident” and “was caught in the crossfire”. Ali also claimed that Shireen Abu Akleh was a ‘tool of propaganda”1.
