Bronze Age Pervert (BAP) is a Romanian-American internet personality with partial Jewish heritage. He advocates right-wing ideals and has become one of the most popular right-wing and manosphere figures on Twitter. He also has a personal account on Twitter with @costin_eats as his handle.

Thielist Ideologue

Alamariu joined Twitter in 2013 under the pseudonym “Bronze Age Pervert” but was banned in 2017 and 2021. He was reinstated under Musk’s reign and his account grew exponentially to become one of the leading figures of the so-called Zionist-friendly “new right”. BAP is said to be linked with other “new right” figures such as Curtis Yarvin who has hugely influenced prominent figures such as Peter Thiel and JD Vance. It is also notable that Vance follows BAP’s account on Twitter. Vance is effectively Thiel’s man in Trump’s cabinet. Some other figures related to Trump’s team are also interested in BAP. Michael Anton, former White House national security spokesperson, Darren Beattie, a former Trump White House aide are among those who have read his work and refer to him. Some commentators have described BAP and other figures such as Yarvin as part of a surging Thiel-funded right.¹ BAP’s connection to Thiel seems deeper than what appears. Thiel has occasionally referred to BAP during speeches to conservative audiences and highly regards his ideas as a “tempting” solution to modern problems.²

National Socialism for Israel

Alamariu’s support for Israel dates back to 2005 when he was a philosophy student at Columbia University. He attacked the Middle Eastern studies department for being pro-Palestine, too multiculturalist and adhering to “third world victimization narratives”. This support is deeply rooted in his mindset. He believes in fascism and national socialism as ideal political regimes based on “morality of eugenics”. He considers Israel as an ethno-state based on principles of national socialism and praises the founders of the Apartheid Regime.³
Some Jewish extremists and supremacists have followed BAP and regard his opinions highly. They see his ideas completely compatible with their Jewish supremacism and advocate the implementation of such ideas in Israel. They call themselves “Bronze Age Zionists”. These Israelis are followers of Meir Kahane’s extremist views. They believe in an Israel that is ethnically cleansed and completely purged of Arab elements.⁴
