Overview:
Educated at Irvine Valley College and Los Angeles Pierce College, Dean Golan Cohen is one of those who sought to actively interrupt the May 2024 pro-Palestine campaign at the UCLA.1 Having spent three years in the IDF, Dean is linked to the pro-Israel Jewish-Persian diaspora in California.
Cohen was present in an attempt to intimidate the UCLA pro-Palestine encampment in what was later unveiled to have been an orchestrated movement funded by Zionist lobbyists such as Leonard Blavatnik, Daniel Linden3 and Bill Ackman4. Other Zionist agitators, all of Persian Jewish descent, include Nathan Moghavem, Matin Mehdizadeh, Nouri Mehdizadeh, Yahoud Younessian, Shiva Bagheri, and Michael Monempour.
It is worth mentioning that Cohen is affiliated with another Los Angeles-based Persian Zionist agitator named Tara Gohari. Gohari describes herself as a “personal banker at Citi”.6
Possible Blavatnik Link?
Dean Golan Cohen was in the IDF Special Forces from 2013 to 2016. He then pursued his profession in real estate-related fields and managed to graduate in 2021.
According to the available sources, Cohen may be a possible receiver of Leonard Blavatnik’s scholarships for “IDF veterans”. Billionaire Leonard Blavatnik is an American-British Jewish investor and one of the most prominent business figures behind the Zionist surveillance and crackdown of 2024 pro-Palestine protests across the US.
