Intelligence Ties
Between years 1984–1986, Palmor was part of the Unit 8200 military intelligence branch of the Israeli army during her military service. Her brother, Yigal Palmor, is a spokesperson for the Jewish Agency, considered by the Russian government as an Israeli spy organization. Yigal Palmor was formerly a spokesperson for the Israeli Foreign Ministry.
Facebook “Oversight” Role
Since 2020, Palmor has been appointed by Facebook as one of the 20 members of the Facebook Oversight Board. This board is focused on removing content considered to be violating the company’s terms of service, including content deemed illegal, violent, racist, etc.

Palmor, along with other influential Israelis inside Facebook such as Jordana Cutler, depict a pattern of former Israeli political and intelligence actors holding key positions in Facebook’s policy and moderation circles.
