Francis Kalifat

Overview:
Francis Kalifat a Zionist Jewish French businessman born in Algeria who is the President of the CRIF (Conseil Représentatif des Institutions Juives de France). CRIF is the main Zionist lobby organization in France, claiming to represent Jewish interests across the country. The World Jewish Congress and the European Jewish Congress are its respective international and regional affiliated organizations.
As the president of the CRIF, Kalifat’s main interest is fighting against the Boycott, Divest & Sanctions (BDS) movement in France¹. He believes that antisemitism in France is a chronic and recurring theme, markedly among Muslims². Kalifat claims that anti-Zionism is masked antisemitism³. He also believes that France should adopt new punitive laws against anti-Zionism⁴.
