Overview:
Houda Belkadi is a Moroccan-born, yet Switzerland and France-based advocate for Israel. Despite her alleged Muslim background, Belkadi consistently celebrates Jewish holidays and expresses racist beliefs common to Zionists. She regards Jews as being “more valuable” than Palestinians.
Given her fluency in Hebrew, Belkadi has frequently visited Israel in the past 14 years, meeting and speaking with Zionist military personnel. Belkadi also frequently seeks to persuade Moroccans to embrace and visit Israel, which has so far been a taboo among the Moroccan public.1
Aside from questionable contacts with Israeli intelligence actors, Belkadi’s active social media presence started only after the 2020 Israel-Morocco normalization agreement, exhibiting an unusual sudden increase in political activity and engagement common to other pro-Israel influence actors after they are recruited for Israel public relations operations.
Belkadi has also been documented to be in close contact with André Azoulay, a prominent Jewish Zionist advisor to the King of Morocco, Mohammed VI. It is worth noting that in 2023, Azoulay was awarded the “Israeli Presidential Medal of Honor”, the country’s highest civil medal by Israeli president Isaac Herzog, presumably for Azoulay’s role in the Morocco-Israel normalization agreement.
Israeli Soccer Diplomacy
When the Israeli soccer team visited Morocco for the first time in 2021, Houda was the first to greet them. She supported the Israeli team as a spectator both in Morocco, 2021 and in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. She has since set up a “Youba Tv” user account on Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter promoting and whitewashing the Zionist regime. The activity of these accounts has intensified since Israel’s post- October 7 invasion of Gaza.
During the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, Belkadi was interviewed by various media outlets in which she would portray Israel in positive light, placing the flags of Israel and Morocco next to each other and claiming the two countries are “allies”.
Noteworthy Contacts
Houda has met with influential Zionist figures, such as Yossi Cohen, the former head of the Mossad, and is in contact with “Sidney Corcos,” an influential Israeli of Moroccan descent suspected of recruiting Moroccans to work on behalf of the Zionist regime.
It is worth mentioning that Belkadi met Cohen on the sidelines of the Jewish National Fund’s 120-anniversary gala held in Israeli occupied Jerusalem in 2022.
