Overview:
Israel Advocacy Movement (IAM) is a British pro-Israel organization founded by Joseph Cohen, a Zionist supremacist. IAM seeks to train new advocates for Israel in the UK. They encourage their advocates to play roles across social media and on the streets. The group cooperates with British right-leaning groups like Britain First and its members like Paul Besser, a virulent anti-Muslim extremist.1 The IAM also contributed to many pro-Israel and anti-Palestine marches in the UK filled with Jewish extremists such as the Jewish Defense League and rightwing islamophobic groups.2
As an instance of the Israel Advocacy Movement’s activities, the group leaked private comments of Jackie Walker, a Black Jewish member of the Labor party in Facebook in which she criticized the role of Jewish slave traders in slavery and the “African Holocaust”. The leaked comments led to her suspension from the party.3
