John Podhoretz is an American political commentator and writer. He is currently the editor of the neocon Commentary magazine and a columnist for the New York Post. He also worked as a speechwriter for Ronald Reagan and George H. W. Bush.
Jewish Neocon Background
John Podhoretz was born in a Jewish family. His father Norman Podhoretz is one of the infamous hawkish neocons who dragged the US into endless wars in the Middle East. Her mother Midge Decter is also one of the pioneers of the neoconservative movement.
Conservative Journalism
Podhoretz like other Jewish conservative agitators is a subversive agent who sees everything through the lens of the Jewish supremacy. He contributes to conservative magazines and newspapers such as Commentary, New York Post, National Review and the Weekly Standard.
Hawkish Neocon
John Podhoretz, like other members of the Podhoretz family, is a warmonger who has advocated for the US invasion of Iraq. The Podhoretzs supported George W. Bush and shaped his aggressive Middle East foreign policy. Most of these neocon warmongers were Jewish.1 John Podhoretz wrote a book on Bush titled “Bush Country” in which he praised him as “the first great leader of the 21st century”. Podhoretz still defends the US invasion of Iraq, clearly stating that the reason behind the failure of the US invasion is “not killing enough bad guys”. He believes that Americans should have killed more Iraqis.2
His stance on Israel – not unlike the other Jewish neocons – is one of unconditional support. When Pat Buchanan described Israeli atrocities against the Lebanese people in 2006 “unchristian”, Podhoretz claimed that this description is anti-Semitic.3 John Podhoretz encouraged Israel to “finish off Hezbollah” even if it costs more than “ten thousand Lebanese civilian lives”.4 This rhetoric is not something completely alien to the Jewish warmongers and neocons. Other Jews such as Bill Kristol, Douglas Feith and David Frum have all repeated such arguments in favor of butchering innocent Iraqi, Lebanese, Palestinian or Syrian civilians.
