Leopoldo Martinez is a Venezuelan-American Zionist agitator. Martinez operates as the Latin America director of the Israel Allies Foundation (a pro-Israel umbrella international organization coordinating Israeli lobbies).
Martinez has built a vast network among pro-Israel politicians in Latin America.1 As an instance, in 2015 he held a meeting with Costa Rican members of parliament in order to promote pro-Israel policies in the country.
In 2016, at the Second Annual Latin America Summit on Israel in Miami, Martinez expressed concern over the increase of sympathy towards the Palestinian cause in Latin America.2
