Magdi Khalil is a Christian Copt originally from Egypt. He immigrated to America in 1994. Khalil is a self-claimed human rights activists and political analyst, leading a group known as the “Middle East Freedom Association”.
According to Egyptian media reports, Khalil is associated with Israeli intelligence and enjoys certain shady connections with a number of US Congress members. Due to his full-blown support for Israel and opposition to Egypt’s Muslim population, Khalil is known in Egypt as a “racist Zionist”. Khalil routinely promotes Israel’s occupation of Palestine through his various social media pages. Khalil has also called for the complete occupation of Gaza and dismantlement of any Palestinian resistance to Israeli genocide. Like his western counterparts, this Egyptian influencer paints critique of Israel as “an attack against Jews”. In light of Tel Aviv’s attempts to isolate the Palestinian cause by embracing regional Arab dictatorships, Khalil has also avidly supported Israel’s recent inroads into Saudi Arabia and certain other Arab Gulf states.
