Overview:
Marcos Peckel is as a Zionist influence agent in Colombia. He is the director of the Jewish Community in Colombia, commissioner in charge of combating “anti-Semitism” at the Latin American Jewish Congress and member of the executive committee of the World Jewish Congress.1 He is also a lecturer at the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Colombia and a columnist for two famous Colombian newspapers called El Espectador and El Pais.2
Despite being a Columbian citizen, Peckel believes that “the existence of the State of Israel is of utmost importance,” and claims that he “can’t imagine Judaism today without the State of Israel” and “Israel has always, in very difficult circumstances, upheld international law.”3
