Saeid has a 20 year experience working as a journalist in various media corporations and diplomatic institutions such as the Emirati Al Ittihad newspaper, the US government-funded Alhurra News Channel, the Israeli newspaper, Israel Hayom (funded by the US-based Adelsons), the neocon and Islamophobic Gatestone Institute, Gulf News, Al Arabiya English website and others.

It appears that Saied’s handlers have sought to use her research background to push neocon, US and Zionist interests in the Middle East region. She studied Media Studies in Westminster University in London. Her area of research includes Arab media, social development, Twitter diplomacy and women.

From 2014 until 2018 she worked as assistant professor in communication and media college of Zayed university based in Dubai. She also worked in IDB (Saudi Islamic Development Bank) based in Jeddah, KSA.
