Drahi is a driving force in Zionist influence over media and telecommunications in France. Part of his media empire includes Altice, France’s second biggest telecom corporation, SFR, France’s second largest mobile operator and internet provider2 , the HOT Israeli cable television company3 , the Israeli i24 News international news channel4 , the American Suddenlink Communications telecom company and Altice USA, the fifth largest telecom company in the US.5
Drahi also owns Sotheby, one of the world’s biggest auction houses and brokers of fine arts and jewelry.6

Israeli Influence Operations

By utilizing his financial power and influence in the media, Drahi has been able to largely control public debate regarding Israel, specifically influencing the French political left in favor of Israel.
One of Drahi’s particularly interesting forays into the French media landscape is his ownership over the famous leftist French newspaper Liberation7 in partnership with Edouard de Rothschild.8 In 2020, he appointed Dov Alfon, an Israeli ex-intelligence agent9 , as the editor in chief of Liberation.10

Drahi and his wife, Lina, have founded the Patrick & Lina Drahi Foundation (PLFA)11 in order to bolster the Zionist regime through grants in areas of science, education and entrepreneurship.12
