Overview:
Peter Thiel is an American billionaire who co-founded PayPal and Palantir Technologies. Thiel has close ties with American and Israeli politicians, intelligence services, and the military-industrial complex. Thiel himself was an FBI informant in 20211 and a longtime Steering Committee member of the infamous Rockefeller-funded Bilderberg Group.
Working closely with Paul Singer’s Manhattan Institute with the initiative to embed Israeli intelligence assets in the US’s growing high-tech startup scene, Thiel has a long history of murky ties, influencing and shaping services such as Facebook, Linkedin, Paypal (with Elon Musk) and OpenAI (ChatGPT).

Astroturfing conservative Jewish Zionist thinkers such as Yoram Reuben Hazony and Curtis Yarvin, Thiel has in recent years sought to forge a revival of what is left of the post 9-11 “Israel-first” neo-conservatist movement, albeit with a more chauvinistic “America First” aesthetic, appealing to worker demographics while simultaneously cracking down on right-wing anti-Zionism.
Palantir’s Role in Espionage & Genocide
Peter Thiel co-founded Palantir Technologies with three Jewish entrepreneurs, Alex Karp (incumbent CEO), Stephen Cohen and Joe Lonsdale in 2013. The name Palantir is driven from Tolkien’s masterpiece, The Lord of the Rings which means “seeing-stone”. Palantir Technologies is specialized in big data analytics, developing software to gather and analyze big data as a service for intelligence services and governmental organizations.
Using AI to Curb Domestic Dissent
Palantir’s products are used by the American intelligence community as mass surveillance tools. The CIA and NSA are among Palantir’s usual clients. Palantir’s first backer was CIA’s venture capital fund, named In-Q-Tel, which invests in start-ups specialized in espionage.2
Alex Karp, Palantir’s CEO has claimed that through use of its technologies, the company has managed to curb the rise of dissident and anti-establishment groups labeled as “far-right” in the US and Europe.3
Assisting Israeli Genocide
Thiel’s Palantir has cooperated with Israel for more than 10 years. The company has an office in the Israeli capital of Tel-Aviv, run by former Israeli officials. Its CEO, Alex Karp, has been described by Israelis as the most outspoken supporter of Israel in Silicon Valley.4
Many have speculated that various Israeli AI-powered “kill-chain” dashboards used against Palestinian and Lebanese populations have been developed using Palantir technology. These Israeli systems – such as “Lavender” and “The Gospel” – enable the Israeli military to automatize processes related to intelligence, surveillance, target acquisition, and reconnaissance (ISTAR) and systematically develop a surveillance and target database for military operations. Integrating various types of incoming data, ranging from human intelligence to signals intelligence and geospatial intelligence, these dashboards compile and update files on various targets using AI. This technology provides the Israeli army with an AI-made “kill list” to use against enemy populations. According to various reports, “Lavender” and “The Gospel” have been used widely indiscriminately against Palestinians in the post October 7 conflict, providing the Israeli air force with proportionately more daily target lists than quickly human-compiled “databases”.5

In one instance, when Thiel was asked regarding the use of Palantir’s software in war of Gaza since the 7 October, Thiel answered that he believes Israel is “broadly in the right.” In January 2025, Palantir officially announced a “new strategic partnership” with the Israeli military in order to improve Israel’s war efforts.6 When Thiel was giving a lecture at Cambridge University in 2024, many pro-Palestine students protested against his presence in the campus and blamed him of being complicit in the ongoing genocide in Gaza.7
Obsession with Israel
Thiel’s Palantir is unique in that it has a demonstrated brand obsession with Israel. Not only does Palantir have working ties with Israel, but the company commonly goes out of its way in expressing support for both Israel and Judaism. For instance, Palantir’s CTO Shyam Sankar is a devout Zionist who repeatedly posts pro-Israel propaganda on his Twitter account.8 It seems that Zionist influence is unimaginably deep-rooted in Palantir.

Boldend: The American response to Israel’s NSO
Through one of his investment companies called Founders Capital, Thiel invested in an espionage start-up named Boldend, specialized in hacking Whatsapp. The company emerged after the infamous Israeli espionage start-up, “NSO” and its main product Pegasus was banned in the USA. It is interesting to note that Thiel clearly profited from Pegasus being banned in the US. It is also noteworthy that Thiel is also an investor in Facebook while simultaneously funding a start-up that hacks Whatsapp, owned by Facebook’s parent company, Meta.9
Joint Venture with Epstein’s Carbyne
Peter Thiel has also invested in the Israeli private cyber security sector. Thiel has invested in Carbyne, a cyber security startup located in the US, Israel and Mexico. Carbyne focuses on crisis response and mass surveillance with the alleged objective of identifying and preventing various accidents and crimes. Carbyne was co-founded by a set of particular people such as the infamous sex trafficker and Israeli intelligence asset Jeffrey Epstein and the former Israeli prime minister Ehud Barak. One of Palantir’s co-founders, Trae Stephens, also serves on Carbyne’s advisory board. Most of Carbyne’s staff formerly worked for Israel’s Unit 8200 (the main Israeli cyber intelligence agency within the IDF). Most notable among these former Israeli intelligence operators are Amir Elichai and Lital Leshem. Leshem worked for the notorious Black Cube private intelligence agency founded by ex-Mossad agents. It is worth noting that Pinhas Buchris, formerly Israel’s IDF unit 8200 intelligence commander and director-general of the Ministry of Defense was also a founding stakeholder in the company. Alex Dizengof, Carbyne’s Chief Technology Officer, was responsible for cybersecurity in Israel’s Prime Minister’s office.10
Part of the Paul Singer Network
Peter Thiel has frequently cooperated with the Jewish American billionaire, Paul Singer who has for long facilitated ex-Israeli intelligence officers being employed in US tech companies. Singer, through his Start-Up Nation Central initiative, has brought many former Israeli intelligence officers from units such as Unit 8200 into the US startup scene.
Thiel and Singer both invested in a personal finance security start-up called BillGuard which was founded by the former Israeli intelligence officer, Raphael Ouzan.11 Thiel also invested in ClearView AI which is an AI face recognition start-up used by the American law enforcement agencies. ClearView AI was basically founded under the Manhattan Institute headed by Paul Singer.
Thiel’s cooperation with Singer and his obsession with hiring Jewish or Israelis demonstrates the nature of his activities; flooding Silicon Valley with Zionist – if not outright Israeli – spooks.
Forming Trump’s 2024 Government
Peter Thiel has been one of Donald Trump’s main financial campaign backers since 2016. Trump’s 2024 vice-presidential nominee JD Vance is indeed a close associate and admirer of Thiel.12 Trump and Vance are both blatant Zionists pushing for the annexation of Jerusalem and the West Bank, funded by Jewish right-wing billionaires such as Miriam Adelson.
Thiel is effectively part of the right-wing Zionist Silicon Valley made up of individuals such as Elon Musk, Alex Karp and David Sacks. After Trump’s 2024 election victory, Palantir’s shares jumped in the stock market as investors forecasted it as a victory for Thiel.13

This emerging network is politically and economically aligned with right-wing Israeli politicians and Likudniks such as Benjamin Netanyahu. Thiel – like Musk -has good relations with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and has met him on several occasions in the last decade. It is worth noting that Thiel is also a major Bitcoin investor, another shared aspect with many other Trump-affiliated big tech figures.
