The UAE-Israel Business Council

The UAE-Israel Business Council (UIBC) is the central and largest economic organization formed in the field of economical connections between the UAE and Israel. The council began operations immediately after the “Abraham Accords” agreement between the two countries in August 2020.

The group claims to be seeking “areas of economic cooperation with high potential” between the UAE and the Zionist regime. It seeks to connect relevant authorities and businessmen on both sides, holding various meetings and seminars both in the UAE and in occupied Palestine.

Several sub-councils operate within the UIBC. One of the most influential of these sub-councils is the Gulf and Israeli Women’s Association.

It is interesting to point that the UIBC is focused almost entirely on partnering with strategic consulting and communication strategy companies, rather than partaking or overseeing classic economic activity. This demonstartes that the actors behind the council are currently seeking to identify and examine future economic footholds more than anything else. Such inroads into the Arab world may be pursued to effectively undermine achievements of the mostly western Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement.

Mysterious UK Link

The subtle omnipresence of the United Kingdom and British companies among members and partners of the council is noteworthy.
